Ask. We answer ourselves.
Eric and AndoniWe usually reply the same day.
You: Does AI build the website?

Andoni
AI is the foundation; the judgement is still ours. People decide the website, you and us, and AI carries out what we decide together faster. That is why, for the same budget, you get a more complete website, connected to AI.
You: What is savvia agentic?

Eric
Our way of making and looking after a website. It is a document that captures the design and development foundations of your website, in a library any AI can read. That way you and your team can change whatever you like while respecting the decisions we made together.
You: How long does it take?

Andoni
It depends on the scope. You will see something real in the first few days, not a presentation a month in, and we will show you progress often. But delivering fast is not the same as rushing: a good website is slow-cooked, with depth and with you involved at every step.
You: How much does it cost?

Eric
It depends on how you want to work with us. For a project, we give you a fixed quote before we start, as soon as we understand it. For changes and ongoing work, an on-demand bank of hours or a monthly fee. In every case, agentic development gets you more quality at a cost you can handle.
You: What if my website is on Webflow?

Andoni
If it works for you and you want to stay on Webflow, we will improve and maintain it. And if it locks you in, we migrate it without a fuss to a custom website ready to work with AI: we move it exactly as it is, pixel for pixel, and the CMS with all its content. The tool is chosen to fit your problem, not the other way round.
You: Will I depend on you?

Eric
No, and that is on purpose. You keep the code and your savvia, the document with every decision. With it, anyone, person or agent, knows how to change the website. And if you need us, we are still here, for a one-off change or under a maintenance agreement.
You: Can my team edit it?

Andoni
Yes, and they learn how. We train your team in agentic development so they can change the website without fear and without having to call anyone.
You: What is savvia.md?

Eric
It is a document, savvia.md, where your website's decisions are written down: colour, typography, voice, components and rules. AI reads it before touching anything, so it changes the website without straying from your brand.
You: What exactly does a studio like yours do?

Andoni
We design and build custom websites, end to end, and leave them ready to keep growing with AI without losing their essence.
You: Do you only do websites or branding too?

Eric
We focus on the website. If your brand already exists, we start from it; if it needs sorting out for the website to work, we document it together in your savvia.
You: What kind of companies do you work for?

Andoni
Rather than by sector, we look at fit. We work mostly with startups and tech companies that want to elevate their digital presence, and with teams that get involved, bring their own judgement and become the third member of the studio. Tell us your case and we will honestly say whether we fit.
You: How are you different from an agency?

Eric
You talk directly to the people who design and build, with no middlemen. And you get a website that your team and AI can keep changing without depending on anyone.
You: Do you have examples of your work?

Andoni
Of course. They are above, in featured projects and in “More projects”. Open them and explore at your own pace: the details are where it shows best.
You: How do we get started?

Eric
With a conversation. You tell us what you need and what is not working today, and within a few days you have a proposal with a fixed scope, timeline and price. Then we will ask you a series of questions to understand your project in depth, and from there we will guide you along the way.
You: What do you need from me to get going?

Andoni
Your goal, what you already have (website, brand, copy) and one person who makes the decisions. After that we ask you a few questions to understand your project from the root: what makes your company special, who your website speaks to, what it has to achieve, which websites you admire and why, and what is not working today. The rest we ask for when needed, not before.
You: Who will I be talking to?

Eric
To Andoni and me, from start to finish. No salespeople or account managers in between, and on the channel you already use.
You: How many rounds of changes are there?

Andoni
Rather than rounds, there are small, frequent deliveries: you give feedback on something real instead of waiting for one big final review. In the proposal every section comes with its tasks and its time, so you always know what each part includes.
You: Can I see progress while you work?

Eric
Of course, from the first delivery. We give you the website on a staging domain: live and browsable, not screenshots or presentations. Drop in whenever you like and watch it take shape.
You: What if I don't like the result?

Andoni
We will see it early, because we deliver early. If something does not fit, we talk it through and fix it in the next delivery, not at the end. And if we need to change course with judgement, we change it.
You: Do you work with teams outside Donostia?

Eric
Of course, in fact it is the most common case. We work remotely, with video calls and shared deliveries. And if you are nearby, we are happy to meet.
You: Do you work in English?

Andoni
We work in Spanish and English, both in meetings and in documentation.
You: Is there a minimum price?

Eric
We do not work with a fixed rate: the price comes from the scope of each project. That said, we prefer projects with enough room to give them the time and care they deserve.
You: How do payments work?

Andoni
On fixed-quote projects, half when you approve the proposal and the other half when we publish, with no surprises along the way. Banks of hours and monthly fees are paid at the end of the month.
You: Are there costs after launch?

Eric
Hosting and the domain, which are yours and are paid directly to their providers. And if your website uses external services, such as analytics tools, forms or a paid content management system (CMS), their fees are also on your side; we tell you before connecting them. If you want us to take care of maintenance or new changes, we agree that separately.
You: Why doesn't AI make the website cheaper?

Andoni
Because the expensive part of a website is no longer the code but deciding well, and we still do that. AI carries out what has been decided faster, so for the same budget you get a more complete website.
You: Do you issue invoices with VAT and a contract?

Eric
Of course. We sign a contract with scope, timeline and price, and invoice with the VAT that applies in your case.
You: What technology do you build websites with?

Andoni
Usually custom code, with Astro: fast, accessible and without templates or plugins that break. But we are not married to any tool; we choose the one that best fits your project.
You: Why don't you use WordPress, Webflow or Framer?

Eric
We have nothing against them; in fact, we have worked with Webflow for years and, if it works for you, we use it. But a custom website does not lock you in, and it is much easier for an AI to change it with judgement.
You: Can I edit the text myself without touching code?

Andoni
You can do it in two ways: with a content management system (CMS) connected to the website, or by asking the AI you prefer, be it Claude, ChatGPT or another. Thanks to your savvia, any of them knows how to do it.
You: Will it be fast and accessible?

Eric
It is part of the job. Before publishing we measure performance and accessibility, and check it looks good on mobile. Details matter.
You: Do you do SEO?

Andoni
We get the technical side right: structure, metadata, speed and accessibility. If you also want a content strategy, we discuss it separately.
You: Can I have the website in several languages?

Eric
Of course. In fact, it is one of the first things an agent does well once the website is documented.
You: Where is the website hosted and who owns it?

Andoni
We usually work with Cloudflare or Vercel, but it can live wherever you prefer. You are the owner: domain, hosting and code are in your name from day one.
You: Do you build online shops or integrations?

Eric
Our territory is brand, product and service websites, with the integrations they usually need: forms, CRM, newsletter and analytics. We do not build online shops: we prefer to focus on what we do best. If that is what you are after, we will tell you from the start and, if we can, recommend someone who does it well.
You: What does the AI do and what do you do?

Andoni
We decide: structure, design, copy, judgement. AI carries out what has been decided: it builds, changes, translates and checks. And everything goes through our hands before it is published.
You: Do my data and content go to an AI?

Eric
Only what is needed to work on your website, and never to train models. If something is confidential, tell us and it will not go through any AI.
You: Will it be obvious it was made with AI?

Andoni
It should not be. A website made with judgement shows through its clarity, not through how it was built. What sounds like AI is the generic, and that is exactly what we avoid.
You: Which AI do you use?

Eric
Several agents depending on the task, Claude among them. Since everything is written in your savvia, the result does not depend on any one in particular.
You: What if my team knows nothing about AI?

Andoni
No need. We teach you just enough to ask for changes and review them, with no technical knowledge needed.
You: What happens if the AI gets it wrong?

Eric
That is what your savvia is for: we document everything so every change stays inside guardrails. We also give you tips for asking the AI for things so it gets it right first time. And before publishing, there is always a human review.
You: Who changes the website once it is published?

Andoni
You and your team, with your savvia and an agent. And if you prefer not to touch it, write to us and we take care of it.
You: Do you offer maintenance?

Eric
Yes, whichever suits you best: a bank of hours for one-off changes or a monthly fee. We are a silent partner: when you need us, we are there; when you do not, we keep quiet.
You: What do you hand over at the end?

Andoni
The published website, the code and your savvia, with every decision in writing so anyone can carry on. And, as always, a little more than we agreed.
You: Can I ask for changes later?

Eric
Whenever you like. And if you prefer someone else to make them, that works too: that is why we document everything.
You: What if you ever decide to stop?

Andoni
Nothing breaks. You have the code and your savvia, and any team can pick it up where we left off.
You: Who are you?

Eric
We are Eric and Andoni. We have known each other since school, shared university and have worked together since 2018. For the first two years we built a healthy eating app, and what we learned led us to create the studio in 2020. Today we work with AI every day, with the same judgement as always.
You: Where are you based?

Andoni
We are both from Donostia. Right now Eric lives in Pamplona and I live in Berlin, although we will be back home soon. In the meantime, and always, we work with teams from anywhere.
You: How do I get in touch?

Eric
Whatever suits you best, or email us directly. We usually reply the same day.
You: What projects don't you take on?

Andoni
Those looking for a quick, cheap website, or starting without a clear person to decide. It is nothing personal: that is not where we add value, and we prefer to say so from the start.
You: Can you talk to my technical team or current agency?

Eric
No problem. We coordinate with whoever is needed so everything fits together.
You: Do you work with startups or large companies?

Andoni
With both. We work mostly with startups and growing tech companies, and also with companies of over 500 people. Where we fit best is in teams with their own judgement, who decide fast and will keep changing their website.
